How does it work?
You can use our service in two ways: to make your parking spots available or to find a parking spot.
As a parking spot owner, you can earn money by allowing us to book free space on your driveway. How? If you have a private space for parking that you are not using, you can register the available spots within our App. There, you can set up the location, time, and dates that the spot(s) will be available. Users in need of a parking space will be able to search the area and book YOUR driveway. The booking fee is a flat rate which includes taxes and a financial transaction fee. 80% of the net booking revenue is given to the parking spot owner and 20% of the net booking revenue will be retained by BookOurDriveway for providing their services in facilitating the booking.
If you are someone looking for parking, you will need to download our app and register your car. You will then be able to view available parking spots and time slots in your desired area and book the one that suits your needs. You can book a parking spot for immediate or future use.
How much does it cost to Book a Driveway?
Depending on your city, the rate may range from $8 – $12. This is an all-inclusive rate that will always be displayed at the time of booking so you know how much you are paying. There are no other fees associated with this parking spot.
As a parking spot owner, how often can my available spot(s) be booked throughout the day?
If you have available space on your driveway, you can create your own schedule with daily time slots in a way that is convenient to you and your lifestyle. For example, you can make your parking spot(s) available for your entire working day (i.e.: 9 am to 5 pm) or you can divide the day into time slots (i.e.: 9 am to 4 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm). This option will allow you to generate two booking revenues a day. Our app allows you to be as creative as you wish in a way that works for you!
How do Cancellations and Refunds work?
Can I cancel a Parking Spot booking?
Absolutely! If you have pre-booked a parking spot, you can cancel the day before and you will be refunded the original Booking payment less a service charge. You will be refunded in the original form of payment.
What if I want to cancel on the day of the reservation?
Cancellations for same-day bookings are non-refundable. If you booked a parking spot through the site you will not be refunded the purchase amount if you want to cancel on the day of your parking spot booking. Same-day cancellations will negatively impact the Driveway/Parking Spot owner’s ability to secure another booking
